How To Get The Master Sword

In this post, we will be going through how to obtain the master sword!

Where is the master sword?

The master sword is located in Korok forest, you have to go through the lost woods to get there. Look for our other post coming up about getting through the lost woods!

Requirements

Just like any other treasure, the master sword doesn't come without a price! To pull the master sword, Link needs at least 13 (Real) hearts! As in the heart containers you get from the goddess statues and the 3 hearts you begin with. You can check out our other post on heart containers if you want even more extra information. 

Extra Information

As Link lays his hands on the sword and begins to pull on it, his health will slowly drain until he is on the verge of death. Right before he dies, he will pull out the master sword! After you pull out the sword, it will appear in your inventory as your new weapon!

The master sword can also fire waves of energy. When you are on full health, press R and try to throw the master sword like you would do with any other weapon. Don't worry, this won't result in you losing the master sword, it will allow the master sword to blast waves of energy at opponents!
